APWWS team apprises the Hon'ble CM about anomalies & violation in appointing the 5th body of APSCW

On 14th May 2018 ,the team of APWWS met the Hon'ble Chief Minister Pema Khandu and apprised him about the anomalies and violation of the laid down rules of the Arunachal Pradesh State Commission for Women Act 2002 while appointing the 5th Body of APSCW. The team submitted representation alongwith with RTI papers obtained by the APWWS from APSCW and pointed out that none of the present APSCW members had applied for the post within the stipulated time framed as published in advertisement of APSCW in the various leading newspaper and also raised the issue of Non-APST and appointment made outside the empanelled lists prepared by the 4th Body of APSCW. APWWS team also said that unless we pointed out such illigality,it will become precedent in the State. After listening to the grievances placed by the APWWS ,the HCM had sought seven days time.
 
After meeting, the team hold press conference at the Press Club ,Itanagar . The APWWS is hoping for a positive outcome from the State Govt. APWWS appreciated the State Govt for taking up various revolutionary decisions for the safety ,security and empowerment of women and children during the recent budget session. Recent amendment made on the Arunachal Pradesh Victim's Compensation Act by the present Govt. is also one example of revolutionary decision but such violation of rules of the APSCW Act is unacceptable.
